Watch exclusive live webcam stream from Europe's oldest mountain rack railway Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn. Webcam is located at the station in Staffel (1 603 m.a.s.l.), where you can watch not only the trains heading from Vitznau to Rigi, but also from the newer track leading to Arth-Goldau.
The oldest cog railway in Europe, the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn in Switzerland, has been in operation since 1871. The railway starts in Vitznau at an altitude of 435 m.a.s.l. and leads all the way below the summit to the Kulm station (1,752 m above sea level). The Vitznau–Rigi Railway uses the Riggenbach rack system, whose creator Niklaus Riggenbach participated in the development of the track himself.
We bring you this unique railway live stream in cooperation with its operator RIGI BAHNEN AG.
